G13 Hybrids
Due to popularity, we chose to create a separate section for these hybrids.
From our breeder, Rob: “In 2001, I received a cut of G13 x NL#2, and for a quarter century, I did not release seeds. I worked the line, first crossing with an 88NL#2 male, then cubing back to the cut, and finally inbreeding. I got the line to where I wanted, and basically shelved it. In 2014 I joined Deep Ellum. I released a small batch of Northern Lights seeds in 2019 and in 2020, I offered G13/NL2 seeds for the first time under the Deep Ellum label.
The response was a bit overwhelming and I got the message loud and clear. I ensured that the G13/NL2 seeds became a permanent fixture in our catalog.
For two decades, however, I avoided the other G13 hybrids out there partly because of the controversy that erupted online in the early 2000’s, but mainly because everyone else was working those G13 plants (the Airborne, Pacific and all the other cuts of 88G13HP). As far as I know, only myself and the Dankmaster had the G13xNL2. The rarity of it greatly appealed to me, so I stayed in my lane and only worked with G13/NL2. That is, until the fall of 2024, when I was commissioned to create a new G13 hybrid.
The project started small, however, when photos that I took of my plants made it online, the public was enthusiastic and incredibly supportive.
I was gifted other G13 hybrids and with this new material, I began to expand the project from creating a single pollen-chunked hybrid, to not only creating but working, several hybrids. In appreciation of the support, I gave away the first seeds of this project, which was an (Airborne x NL5)F1 x (88G13NL2)Bx4f3.”
The project yielded many G13 hybrids, several of which were outstanding. We have chosen to include a few of these in our Winter ’25 offerings.
We humbly present the following G13 hybrids for your consideration.
